Washington DC Network

As part of  Sciences Po Alumni Inc., the local network in Washington, DC serves alumni of the Institut d'Études Politiques de Paris (also known as Sciences Po), who reside or work in the United States. About 200 members currently participate in our activities and network.
 
Pascal Delisle
Local Networks - Washington DC
Pascal Delisle is the Cultural attaché and executive director Partner University Fund at the French Embassy in Washington DC. He is in charge of strengthening academic cooperation across the board between France and the United States and is responsible in particular for the management of a public private partnership/foundation (between 2 and 3 million US dollars a year of grants) between the French government and private donors to fund innovative initiatives in the area of graduate education and research. He received his degree in Public Policy from the Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris (1990), and his Aggregation from the Ecole Normale Supérieure and Ph.D in Economics from the Université of la Sorbonne (Paris I).
 
Harvey Feigenbaum

Professor Harvey Feigenbaum is an expert on the political economy of Western Europe and a specialist on France. He teaches courses on the politics of Western Europe, the political economy of advanced industrialized states, theories of comparative politics, and politics and culture at Geoges Washington  University.   He received his BA (with Distinction) in foreign affairs from the University of Virginia, the Diplome en Relations Internationales from the Insitut d'Etudes Politique de Paris, and his M.A. and Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of California, Los Angeles. Feigenbaum is the author of a number of books, including The Politics of Public Enterprise (Princeton: 1985), and co-author of Shrinking the State (Cambridge: 1998), as well as having written in many professional journals, such as World Politics, Comparative Politics and Governance. Feigenbaum is currently writing a book on the political economy of the entertainment industry, focusing on the United States, France and Britain He has appeared regularly on television and radio in Europe and Australia, and been interviewed on the News Hour with Jim Lehrer, and in newspapers such as The Wall Street Journal and USA Today.
 
Linda J. Yarr

Linda J. Yarr is an international educator who directs the Program for International Studies in Asia (PISA) at the Elliott School of International Affairs of The George Washington University, where she partners with research institutes, universities and ministries of foreign affairs in Asia on international relations training, education and research. Prior to joining PISA, she taught global political economy at Long Island University and political science courses at the University of Denver and the University of Colorado at Boulder.  She is co-founder of the Women’s Initiative on International Affairs in Asia. She received her B.A. from D’Youville College, the Diplôme en relations internationales from the Institut d’Études Politiques de Paris, and the M.A. in government and Southeast Asia studies from Cornell University. Currently serving on the Board of Directors of the journal Critical Asian Studies, and the Advisory Board of the Woodrow Wilson (H.S.) International Studies Program, Ms. Yarr has previously served on the board of Sciences-Po Alumni, USA, the Executive Council of the Women’s Caucus in International Studies, the Steering Committee of Women Administrators in Higher Education and the Advisory Council of the University of Maryland College Park Scholars Program.
